What is Tatum Robotics?
Tatum Robotics has created a translational device that can quickly and efficiently translate various sources, including news, emails, books, and live inputs exclusively for DeafBlind individuals ensuring a customizable and convenient experience through tactile signing. Tatum envisions a world where sources can be available firsthand, while choice and privacy are part of the experience.

During this process of design, the Tatum team realized that there a huge accessibility gap in DeafBlind peoples access to tools that help them learn language and other subjects vital to their success. Since most existing assistive technology programs only help DeafBlind people access technology for a language they are already familiar with, there is little setup to help teach DeafBlind new modalities.

That is where the Tatum Robotics Foundation comes in! We are aiming to support DeafBlind people in getting access to technology to help them learn language, learn STEM, and connect with the world around them.
Our Partners!
A special thank you to the Capillary Foundation to their generous donation to support research in 2025!
